Murder Mystery Gourmet Wine Dinner Theatre, Santa Ana California

Killer Entertainment's professional performers weave improvisation, music, & scripted dialogue to create unique murder mysteries & dinner theatre events in Southern California.  Murder Mystery Show Schedule below.

The Green Parrot Café serves California Bistro Cuisine in our romantic Spanish-style courtyard or you can dine in the gallery or cafe surrounded by works of art available for purchase through the Calafia Gallery.

Special:  Prize drawings !!!  Some members of audience singled out for "personal" attention.  No one ever required to perform, involved more than they desire.  (See FAQ - Why we Mingle)

Seating:  House Maximum = 80.  All seats are good, as action takes place throughout the room.  Groups over 40 call for specific possible accommodations, private shows adaptable to any venue.

Misc:  Expected Cost of Show / 5- Course Wine & Dinner : 
$95-125 per  person, plus tax (does NOT include gratuity, which may be left at your table).
Groups up to 40 may opt/ask to serve as base of new public show, at lower cost than full buyout.
Groups 35-80 may arrange for private show on any date.
Any Group may book one of our other customized shows.

Mystery Show Description:
     It's 1948 and the evening is the wrap party for the movie, "The Wrath of Grapes," by famed filmmaker Alfred Welles, starring his flamboyant ex-wife (and fading star) Dorothy Carrington and her current husband Ricardo Domingo, who unfortunately mysteriously dies just hours before the "wrap" celebration.  Hollywood hub-bub, stars and starlets, love triangles, surprising revelations, unscrupulous movie producers, and you help solve a MURDER ... Swell fun!

       Location & Capacity:  Tables will be rounds of 6-8.  Groups up to 10 may be seated at one table.  For public shows, smaller parties may be seated with other guests.

Sample Menu:
Chef Lawrence attended the New England Culinary Institute and previously worked at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey, Pinot Hollywood, and his own catering company, The Discerning Palate, before becoming chef/owner of the Green Parrot Cafe.  He and a Sommelier will discuss wine and menu pairings throughout the evening.

Coppola Wines served with each course.
Course 1:  Tray passed Hors D'oeuvres .
Course 2:  Artichoke & Oven Dried Tomato Terrine with Goat Cheese Croutons.
Course 3:  Sea Bass with Potato Chive Puree & Portabella Vinaigrette.
Course 4:  Grilled & Sliced Beef w/Lemon, Black Pepper & Parmesan
                served w/Fingerling Potatoes, Endive & Watercress.
Course 5:  Tuiles with Truffle Gelato & Black Berries

Beverages:    Nonalcoholic beverages are also included (coffee, tea, soda) if requested.

Show Parking:    Is free in several lots behind the cafe.

Dress: Anything from nice casual to semi-formal evening wear.  Feel free to dress up for the period -- 1948 at the height of Hollywood's glamour. 

Adult Content:    The show is written for adults.   No profanity or nudity, but there is a good deal of innuendo and suggestive language. We compare the material to adult shows on network television.

Children:    We do not have children's menus or prices.  We do not recommend this show for children.  As it is a wine dinner, we must be notified of anyone under the age of 21 attending.
