Background of Partners Michael J. McKay
began acting at the age of five. His credits range from
leading roles on stage in Romeo and Juliet, Gregor in
Metamorphosis,
Dr. Seward in
Dracula, King Henry in Anne of the Thousand Days, and
Sweeney in Sweeney Todd -- to voiceover work in German, Russian
and English, to
clowning on television, as Bonkers, on Days of Our Lives.
He guest-starred on
JAG with Catherine Bell and David James Elliott as
a Russian Submarine Officer; and appeared in 2005 as a Russian spy on
Alias ("Ice") with Jennifer Garner. He guest-starred in 2006
as a criminal on Nickelodeon's
Drake and Josh.
In 2008 he can be seen at a theatre near you as a Nazi
sniper in the feature film, "Bad
Day."He has appeared over 100 times as a member of the Port Charles Police Force, on General Hospital and Port Charles. He has many years of improvisation experience, touring Southern California for three years with The Imagination Company. A lover and student of languages, Mike earned a degree in English from the University of Notre Dame, speaks fluent German and Russian, some Spanish, French, and Arabic, and currently studies dialects in a Master Class with Robert Easton (who coached Robin Williams, Helen Hunt, and many others in Oscar-winning performances.) As head writer for Killer Entertainment, he has written or co-written 15 plays, and customized countless events. As a U.S. Army Cavalry Officer stationed in Germany, a 1LT in a CPT's post, he was responsible for $250 million of equipment. He has scheduled and budgeted several independent films, ranging from Micro-Budget to multi-million dollar projects. He is a Past President of the Fullerton Kiwanis Club, Lieutenant Governor for Kiwanis Division 30, Immed. Past President of the Anaheim Orange County Convention Bureau (AOCVCB) Breakfast Club, and a father of three. In addition to founding Killer Entertainment, he is a founding member of Film Corps, an independent film company. |
